MICAH News Letter Q3 2025

As we close on Q3 of 2025, it is hard to believe how quickly the time has flown by here at the MICAH Program.  Yesterday, we held a celebration of our 5th year.  Thank you, St. Anthony of Padua, for allowing us to use your facility for the celebration.

As we reflected on our history, we took time to review our Purpose, Mission, and Vision statements.  There are our North Star and help us keep focused.

MICAH’s Purpose Statement:

At The MICAH Program, we believe that all people are children of God. Our faith-based organization is dedicated to assisting our neighbors in financial need by providing mentorship and alternative solutions to predatory loans, fostering empowerment and dignity in their journey toward financial stability.

MICAH’s Mission Statement:

The MICAH Program empowers individuals in our community by providing access to low-interest loans and promoting financial responsibility through mentorship. Our dedicated mentors treat everyone with dignity and respect, helping our neighbors build essential budgeting skills. We are committed to raising public awareness about predatory loan practices and their impact, fostering a more informed and financially secure community.

MICAH’s Vision Statement:

Our vision is to empower our neighbors to achieve financial stability and personal goals through accessible financial education and resources. We envision a community where everyone possesses the financial literacy needed to make informed decisions and build a prosperous future.

A Thanks to Our Volunteers

The MICAH Program would cease to exist were in not for those who volunteer their time and talent to our mission.  Our Mentors who walk with the Neighbors we serve are the life blood of the program.  Thanks also to the Inquiry team, the Loan Review Panel, and our Board of Directors.

Our History of Growth Since 2020

We also took time to see how more and more people are inquiring about our two primary programs, the MICAH Loan and the Bridge to Wheels program.  You can see, based on the bar below, how we continue to have increased requests for both programs.

As a reminder, the Bridge to Wheels program is a collaboration between the MICAH Program, Miracle Hill Ministries, and Miracle Hill Auto Sales and exclusive to participants in the Miracle Hill Ministries transition program and alumni.

A Thanks to Our Partners in the Community

The MICAH Program is blessed to have great partners in our community enabling us to help serve the financially vulnerable.

Thank you all for your collaboration and your support.
