What the MICAH Loan does

  • The MICAH Loan Program serves people located in the counties of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Pickens South Carolina.
  • The MICAH Loan Program helps individuals (called Neighbors) with gain access to low-cost loans up to $2,500.
  • The MICAH Loans are provided by Self-Help Credit Union (SHCU), with an interest rate of 4% over the current savings deposit rate, to be repaid over a term of between 12 to 18 months. Current Loan Interest rate is approximately 4.3%
